During summer months or in humid climates, a moisturizing, soothing toner such as this may be the only "moisturizer" that skin needs.
Allow toner to absorb before applying exfoliants, such as a Paula's Choice Beta Hydroxy Acid product.
Directions: Use after RESIST Optimal Results Hydrating Cleanser. Lightly soak a large cotton pad with RESIST Advanced Replenishing Toner and gently stroke over facial skin. Do not rinse. Follow with Paula's Choice RESIST moisturizer, sunscreen, or treatment product.

I My oily skin nevertheless experiences seasonal dryness and also dryness caused by over-zealous acne control and exfoliaton. The new RESIST Cleanser and this toner are the perfect solution when my skin is feeling tight and uncomfortable, without being overly moisturizing. At first I was disappointed that the RESIST line seemed to be aimed at normal-to-dry skin, but have found that many of the products are ideal for me in the Winter months. As always, I am in awe of the quality of Paula's products!

Paula has raised the bar- AGAIN!
I bought this the first day it came out, and am completely wowed. Instantly calms my complexion and reduces redness. Hasn't been a problem at all for my acne-prone skin; in fact, I really think this is helping (the linoleic acid perhaps?). So far, this is my favorite of Paula's toners. The results are more immediately visible than with the Hydralight toner, and leaves my skin with a more dreamy-matte finish than the Skin Balancing toner. I think it's worth the extra cost for this remarkable formula and ultra-light-proof packaging.

amazing results
i've been a paula's choice fan for years, and i think her products just keep getting better. i ran out of the skin balancing toner, and decided to try the resist toner, though i was a little afraid it would be too emollient for my slightly breakout-prone skin. i shouldn't have worried - this toner prevents redness, makes my skin smoother, and provides enough moisture that i don't need any moisturizer. the results were immediate and very noticeable. another incredible product from paula.

I've never used toners--I always thought they were just a money grab by the skin care industry. Then I read the description of the Resist toner & it sounded like MUCH more than a cheap astringent. After just a few days of use, my skin looked clear & radiant--almost translucent. I was amazed! This stuff is GREAT! I slather it on morning & night--it goes a long way if you don't waste any in a cotton ball.I pour it on my fingers & spread it on my face after washing. It does calm redness; I have rosacea but have had no flare ups if I use the right PC products. This toner is surely one of them!

I decided to add a toner into my regimen because I felt like I could use more antioxidants between my daytime moisturizer (Cerave AM) and exfoliant (CLEAR regular strength). All I can say is wow! Before I never thought a toner was necessary, but now I can't live without this stuff! I love the milky consistency, it's very soothing and calms any redness. Also I don't wake up to a beard of flakes anymore from my tretinoin! Please... pretty please don't ever discontinue!
